Strategic Minerals: Pathways to Peace and Sustainability?

David Grover, Aude Pommeret, Tom Moerenhout, Gilles Carbonnier
, -

As global demand for critical minerals accelerates, these resources sit at the crossroads of geopolitics, climate action and technology. From the pressures of energy transition to the race for digital infrastructure, strategic minerals are reshaping economic priorities and global power dynamics. Yet their extraction often comes with profound social, environmental and security implications.

Join experts on the matter who will explore how strategic minerals can fuel both conflict or peace dynamics (such as in the DRC) and cooperation across climate, digital and energy transitions. Our webinar will highlight governance and policy frameworks as well as market incentives and regulation for nature‑positive, cooperative and resilient outcomes.
