Thomas Frankl held senior management positions in both the private and the international public sector, including the International Telecommunication Union in Geneva. He holds a Ph.D. in International Economics from the University of Munich and has been teaching at Swiss universities and business schools for over ten years.

He is a lecturer within the Graduate’s Institute’s MINT programme, a visiting professor at the African Leadership University and a member of the advisory board of EDHEC Online. His multidisciplinary book ‘Subliminal Leadership’ was published in 2024 by Routledge.
